Modernizing the History and Timeline page required a refresh of the UX/UI
The previous version was hard to navigate using the timeline bar shown here.
The overall layout did not work for mobile views. Navigation was difficult and the photos did not stack well on narrow screens.
The experience in mobile is improved by adding interactions to the section headers, turning them into helpful drop down menus both for mobile and desktop views.
